MATT SCHRAP
President
After five years with the California Trucking Association (CTA) Matt Schrap has taken the helm as President of California Fleet Solutions (CFS) effective January 2011. While Director of Environmental Affairs for the CTA, Matt was responsible for trucking industry interests during development and implementation of unprecedented environmental restrictions aimed directly at the trucking industry in California.
Matt was instrumental in deciphering multiple regulations written by the California Air Resources Board (CARB) and is now working even harder to bring his customers the best information and solutions available. Over the past several years, Matt used his knowledge to help hundreds of California fleets understand their role in achieving compliance under CARB laws. He also worked hard to ensure a level playing field and fair access to grant and loan assistance programs for truckers moving goods throughout the Golden State. Matt has represented the industry, speaking before thousands of people on trucking issues. He is now leading the CFS team to further protect the industry against unnecessary and expensive CARB noncompliance citations.
He is excited to help provide fleets the opportunity for free grant assistance, regulatory education, expanded funding options and unprecedented service through CFS. Customers are the integral part of the CFS solution equation, and Matt will bring
his expertise to present reliable, easy to understand information along with compliance solutions fleets can count on.
